박효진은 전통과 현대, 개인과 공동체, 예술과 일상 사이의 경계를 탐구하며 한국적 정서와 감수성을 담은 독창적인 예술 세계를 구축한다.
전통종합예술의 다양한 범주 안에서 박효진의 동시대적 감성을 담아 선보이는 작품으로 공연자와 관객이 창의적 공동 작업에 의하여 공존동생의 의미를 풀어내는 과정에 주목한다.
같은 시간과 공간 안에서 벌어지는 ‘판’을 구현하며, ‘우연성’과 ‘즉흥성’, ‘순환성’과 ‘연계성’을 품고 진행되면서 일련의 작업 과정을 공유한다.
무대 예술의 기존 형식에서 벗어나 개념 미술과 인터랙티브 아트를 아우르며, 살아있는 ‘소리’와 ‘움직임’ 그리고 ‘말’의 우연성과 즉흥의 연결을 실험하고, 설치 미술을 통해 경계를 허무는 퍼포먼스를 선보인다. 또한, 실연되는 장소와 참여하는 사람들이 누구인가 하는 것이 작품에서 중요한 지점이 된다.

Hyo-jin Park explores the boundaries between tradition and modernity, the individual and the community, and art and everyday life, building a distinctive artistic world shaped by Korean sensibilities and emotional depth.
It is a participating work that embodies “SPACE” occurring in the same time and place, exploring the connection between spontaneity and improvisation through living “words,” “movements,” and “sounds.”
It deviates from conventional formats, like stage arts, and embraces Conceptual Art and Interactive Art, presenting boundary-breaking performances with installations. Also, the locations and the participating audience become crucial points in the artwork.

| TITLE | 말 – 꽃 길
명을 주고, 복을 준다는 상징적인 의미를 담아, 방울을 흔들며, 축원과 고사덕담의 주요 내용을 담은 소리 중 相逢吉慶 不逢萬災 滿財數 사설을 한글로 풀어쓴다. 경사스러운 일만 만나 온갖 재난은 비껴가고, 좋은 일만 가득하길 기원하는 사설 전달의 몰입을 전하고, 더 나아가 박효진과 관객은 공동 작업에 의해 삶의 의미를 만들어낸다.
| TITLE | WORD – Flower road
For 12 months of a year, four seasons, 24 solar terms, the rituals, wishing for health and happiness, continue on a bed of flowers.
By writing lyrics in Chinese and Korean letters, it delivers the lyrics’ meaning -wishing to face joyful events to avoid all disasters
and be filled with only good things-. Furthermore, Hyo-jin Park and the audience create meaning for life through collaborative work.
| TITLE | 움직임 – 상좌 병풍
박효진의 움직임은 은율탈춤 중 잡귀를 몰아내고 탈판을 정화 하는 의식무의 기능을 하는 제 2과장 상좌춤을 모티브로 한다. 이러한 상좌 춤사위를 중심으로 자연스럽게 들이마시고 내뱉는 호흡과 몸의 흔들림을 그대로 그리고, 몸이 내는 소리로 인한 움직임의 순간을 실시간으로 기록한다.
특히 야외 공연에서 관객들은 조금은 느리게, 여유를 경험하 는 시간을 갖게 되고, 자연이라는 위대한 작품 안에서 느리고 긴 호흡으로 몸을 움직여 보면서 우연하게 얻어지는 예상하지 못한 결과물을 얻는다.
관객 참여형으로 이루어진 공동작업은 과거와 현재 그리고 미래의 건강과 행복을 염원하고 공존동생의 의미를 함께 만들어 나가게 된다.
| TITLE | MOVEMENT – Folding screen
Hyo-jin Park’s movement is inspired by Talchum (mask dance drama). Based on the dance moves, she expresses natural breathing and body movements as is, and records movements caused by the sounds of body in real time.
The work recorded through the performance is exhibited at the followi ng performance, and the work recorded through another approach is presented in the subsequent performance after that. Especially, the aud ience experiences a relaxing time at outdoor performances. Within the magnificent artwork of nature, they serendipitously gain unexpected re sults as they move their bodies along slow, deep breaths.
The collaborative work, made through audience participation, hopes for the health and happiness of the past, present, and future, and co-creates the meaning of shared existence.
| TITLE | 소리 – 과거와 현재, 미래를 담은 살아있는 음악
자연에서 나온 재료로 만들어진 악기 ‘가야금’과 ‘양금’의 대화 속에서 관객들은 각자가 살아있는 소리로 참여하게 된다,
이 과정에서 박효진과 관객의 즉흥연주는 서로에게 신호를 주고 받으며 점점 소리를 쌓아가게 되는데, 그 울림은 자연의 소리와도 직접 닿아 있다. 그렇게 우리는 서로에게 사는 이야기를 전한다.
| TITLE | LIVE SOUNDS – Music that captures past, present and future
Amid the dialogue between ‘Gayageum’ and ‘Yanggeum,’ the instruments made out of materials from nature, the audience participates with their own live sounds In this process, Hyo-jin Park and the audience’s jamming builds layers of sounds as they exchange signals, and that resonance aligns with the sounds of nature. In this way, we share our life stories with each other.
