관계의 온도를 다층적으로 탐구하는 정규 4집 앨범 프로젝트.
정규 4집 인(人, IN)은 가야금을 리드 악기로 삼아 사람과 사람 사이, 따뜻하기도 때로는 차기도 한 ‘관계의 온도’를 노래하는 콘셉트 앨범이다. 오래된 국악기의 소리, 익숙하면서도 낯선 소리로 지금의 감정을 섬세하게 풀어낸다.
앨범에는 본인 삶에서 겪은 경험과 생각을 바탕으로 하는 총 10곡의 이야기가 수록되어 있다. 허망함, 두려움, 안정감, 친밀감 등 우리가 살아가며 느끼는 미묘한 감정들을 풀어내면서, 아티스트의 진정성과 자기 자신에 대한 진솔한 태도를 통해 보편적인 공감을 이끌어낸다.
박효진의 정규 앨범 『人 (IN)』은 ‘관계’와 ‘연결’ 속에서 일어나는 조용하지만 분명한 떨림을 가만히 들여다보게 한다. 박효진은 ‘관계’라는 주제 의식을 구현하고, 키워드를 감각적으로 경험할 수 있도록 아트필름을 직접 연출해 그 애정을 드러낸다. 더불어, 직접 제작한 석고 한지 마그넷, 아트 엽서, 앨범 북 등 굿즈를 통해 음악을 손에 쥐는 촉각적 경험도 함께 제안한다.

Hyo-jin Park 4th Studio Album, 『人 (IN)』 — recording the temperature of human connection.
Hyojin Park’s project, 『人 (IN)』, explores the subtle yet undeniable tremors that arise within ‘relationships’ and ‘connections.’
This concept album captures the “temperature” between people — sometimes warm, sometimes cold — unfolding delicate emotions through the familiar yet novel sounds of the ancient instrument.
It comprises ten stories based on the artist’s personal experiences and reflections, capturing subtle emotions such as emptiness, fear, stability, and intimacy. Through her sincerity and introspection, the album evokes a universal sense of empathy, allowing us to quietly observe the gentle yet distinct tremors that arise in ‘relationships’ and ‘connections.’
To deepen this sensory experience, She also directed an art film and created handmade goods — including plaster magnets, an art postcard, and an album book — revealing her affection for the tactile and visual extensions of her music.

앨범의 타이틀 『人 (IN)』과 아트워크 디자인은 박효진의 예술적 방향성과 스타일을 시각적으로 설명한다. 1~3집 앨범 커버에서 국악기 현의 줄을 받치는 ‘안족’의 형태로 보여주었다면, 이번 앨범에서는 개인전 《입소리; 구음》 에서 선보인 작품 ‘꽃 길'(2022)을 인(人)의 모습으로 형상 화하여 타이틀에 담긴 의미를 암시한다. 서로 기대어 살아 가는 모습을 담고자 했다. 영문명 ‘IN’은 연관성이 없을 수 있지만, 관계에서 오는 다양한 측면을 다룬 앨범인 만큼 ‘사람과 사람 사이 안에’, ‘내면 안에’, ‘관계 안으로’ 들어가는 느낌을 더해준다.
The album’s title, “人 (IN)” and artwork design visually exemplify her artistic direction and style. While the covers of her first three regular albums featured the “an-jok,” a traditional Korean instrument used to support strings, this album’s cover depicts “Flower Road” (2022), a work presented at Hyo-jin Park’s solo exhibition, “Mouth sounds (2023),” as a human figure, hinting at the meaning behind the title. While the album English name “IN” may not be related, it evokes a sense of connection, encompassing the diverse aspects of relationships, evoking a sense of “between people,” “inner self,” and “into relationships.”
